Tattoo

Can I get a tattoo while breastfeeding?

Tattoos are discouraged during breastfeeding.

Reasons include potential infection risks, delays in hormonal healing, and ambiguous effects of tattoo chemicals on the body and breast milk. It is advisable to wait until after this period and consult a physician.

How do I care for my tattoo properly after getting a tattoo?

Proper care is crucial after tattooing.

Keep the tattoo clean and apply a thin layer of the recommended care cream. Avoid direct sunlight, swimming pools and saunas for at least two weeks to prevent infection.

Can I go into the sun with my fresh tattoo?

Direct sunlight should be avoided during the initial weeks, as UV rays can hinder healing and lead to color fading.

During the healing process, it is recommended to use sunscreen with a high sun protection factor.

Can I do sports with a fresh tattoo?

Sport should be avoided for the first 7-14 days to prevent infection and perspiration on the wound.

Light exercise is possible after a few days, but intensive training and water activities should be avoided for at least two weeks.

Can I take medication before my tattoo session?

Prior to your tattoo appointment, it is advisable to refrain from taking blood- thinning medications, including aspirin or similar products. These substances can interfere with blood clotting, resulting in increased bleeding during the procedure and complicating the tattooing process. Conversely, ibuprofen is acceptable, as it does not significantly impact blood clotting. If you have any uncertainties, it is prudent to consult your doctor or pharmacist.

How does a tattoo consultation work?

We will discuss your ideas, motifs and the right style. You are welcome to bring sketches or inspiration with you. Our tattoo artist will advise you on design, placement and implementation. We will also clarify the duration and costs and answer all your questions – from preparation to aftercare. The goal is a tattoo that suits you perfectly.

How old do I have to be to get a tattoo?

To get a tattoo, you must be at least 16 years old. It is necessary that you are accompanied by a parent or legal guardian during the entire appointment. From the age of 18, you can make an appointment without any restrictions or accompaniment.

Is a tattoo on scars possible?

Yes, it is generally feasible to tattoo over scars. This is contingent upon the type, age, and condition of the scar. Fresh or healing scars should not be tattooed, as the skin must be fully regenerated. We recommend that you present the scar during a consultation so that we can evaluate its condition and collaboratively create a design that effectively integrates or conceals the scar.

What does a tattoo costs?

The minimum cost for a tattoo is €80, which accounts for essential expenses such as materials and preparation. The final price is influenced by various factors, including size, design, intricacy, and the time needed for completion. While smaller tattoos typically fall within the lower price range, larger or more intricate designs may incur significantly higher costs. Our artists are available to provide guidance and offer a personalized cost estimate in advance.

Are there areas that you generally do not tattoo?

No, we essentially tattoo all areas of the body. Our objective is to fulfill your desires to the best of our ability, irrespective of the chosen location. However, we will provide you with candid advice regarding potential unique characteristics or challenges that certain body parts may present, such as increased wear or heightened sensitivity. This approach allows us to ensure your long-term satisfaction with your tattoo.

Will Fineline tattoos last forever?

Fineline tattoos are characterized by their intricate lines and details; however, like all tattoos, they are subject to fading over time. Finelines, in particular, can readily blur into the skin. Various factors, including sun exposure, skincare practices, and the natural aging process of the skin, influence their longevity. However, with appropriate care, including UV protection and effective aftercare, you can ensure that your fineline tattoo remains beautiful for an extended period. Our artists are pleased to provide guidance on optimal care practices.

Is it possible to get handpoke tattoos in your studio?

Yes, we provide handpoke tattoos from a curated selection of artists.

Please inform us of your preference when you reach out, so we can ensure we connect you with the appropriate artist.

Can I get a tattoo with neurodermatitis?

Neither neurodermatitis nor psoriasis fundamentally serve as exclusion criteria for obtaining a tattoo.

However, we advise that you consult your skin doctor beforehand, as we, as tattoo artists, are unable to offer medical advice. Your health is our priority!

Can complications occur during the tattoo session?

Circulatory issues may arise during the tattooing process. Consequently, it is advisable to consume something sweet and hydrate adequately to replenish energy. A newly inked tattoo resembles an open wound and can, in rare instances, lead to localized inflammation or complications in the healing process.

By diligently adhering to the care instructions, you reduce the likelihood of complications and facilitate optimal healing.

When may I consume alcohol again?

It is advisable to refrain from consuming alcohol for the initial 24 to 48 hours following a tattoo procedure.

Alcohol reduces blood viscosity and may impede healing or elevate the risk of hemorrhage and inflammation.

For optimal recovery: It is advisable to wait several days before consuming alcohol.

How long is the waiting time for an appointment?

The waiting time depends on your desired design and the chosen artist. With a detailed description of your tattoo idea, we can make the process quicker and more efficient.

For smaller designs, our walk-in studio is open to you, where you can also drop by spontaneously without an appointment.

How does "Walk-In" work?

Walk-in tattoos allow you to come to the studio spontaneously without an appointment. If a tattoo artist is free, your tattoo will be applied straight away. This option is particularly suitable for smaller designs. For larger tattoos, we recommend an appointment for better planning.

What does a consultation cost?

The consultation in our studio is completely free and non-binding. We will take time to discuss your ideas in detail and show you the best possible options for your tattoo. You will receive all the important information about style, size, care and costs so that you can make a well-informed decision – without any obligations.

Why do I have to pay a deposit in advance?

The deposit serves to secure your appointment and to guarantee that our time and the preparation of your personalized design are accounted for. It will be processed at the time of your appointment. Should you fail to cancel your appointment in a timely manner or do not attend, we retain the right to retain the deposit to offset the incurred costs.

Cover-Up & Laserentfernung

What is a "cover-up"?

A cover-up refers to a tattoo that conceals an existing tattoo or integrates it into a new design. It is frequently employed to refresh old, unwanted, or faded tattoos. The original design is obscured by a new, typically darker or more intricate design, rendering it no longer visible.

We would be pleased to provide you with personal advice on this matter.

How to proceed with a cover-up?

During the consultation, we discuss your ideas and evaluate the existing tattoo for a cover-up. We determine suitable designs and colors, with darker hues often being most effective. Multiple sessions or pre-lightening with laser treatment may be necessary. Together, we will find the best solution to achieve a result you’ll love!

Do you offer tattoo lasering?

We offer you a professional consultation in our studios. Our experienced artists will assess your tattoo and decide together with you whether removal is necessary or whether a cover-up is sufficient.
